Kit includes a 12.5” diameter weight plate mold with 1 oz fiberglass reinforcement and two 3” long galvanized steel sleeves, roughed for concrete binding (2” in diameter for an Olympic bar).
Sized to create a concrete change plate weighing between 10 and 35lbs. Add a steel sleeve to the collar index and pour concrete with fiber reinforcement to your desired weight and let cure*. Remove weight, wipe out the mold and repeat. Mold is not marked with nominal weights so you can place your own numbers for each made plate in LBs and KGs.
*CURING: Concrete takes 24-48 hours to set. For optimal results, de-mold after this time and continue letting your plate cure. Most concrete mixes reach 70% of specified compressive strength after 7 days and full strength at 28 days.
